Why You must change your web browser to chrome
Google Chrome is a new buzz word and almost everyone who uses internet is talking about this new web browser. So is it worth downloading and changing our habit of using firefox. As we all know internet explorer is out of ideas and from our list of browser in comparison chart. Let’s take a quick look at the features which chrome is offering.
1) One box for everything: It means when you type in address bar it will suggest popular sites as well as searches, when you compare this feature with mozilla you will find the suggested Sites are presented in a better look and feel and the suggested searches are really helpful and which is not present in mozilla.
2) New tab page: This is same tab adding option which internet explorer 7.0 is using but chrome comes with an extra feature of displaying your most visited sites in the form of thumbnails. I don’t know how a user will feel to see the images of website which is not so pleasant and wished better be in form of urls.
3) Application Shortcuts: Many websites, such as email services, operate like actual programs, similar to those on your computer desktop. You can open these websites by just Clicking on the shortcuts created by chrome from your desktop just like any other windows application. When you double-click a shortcut icon, the web application opens in a special streamlined window that gives you as much working room as possible.
4) Dynamic tabs: You can click and drag the tabs out to create its own window or you can also drag and arrange different tabs in order.
5) Crash Control: This is the best part of this browser, by right clicking on the top of chrome window you can access the task manager of chrome Use the Task Manager to get details about a specific Process running in Google Chrome, or to force a misbehaving tab or application to close. For each active item in Google Chrome, you can monitor the amount of memory taken up, the amount of CPU used, and the network activity (bytes sent and received).
6) Incognito mode: To browse internet without storing information about the visited websites and download you can use incognito mode by selecting new Incognito window from the page menu.
7) Safe Browsing: Chrome will warn you if you are visiting a harmful site with a warning message. Google Chrome displays this warning if the web address listed in the certificate doesn’t match the address of the website Google Chrome is attempting to access.
These are the feature which makes chrome better and intelligent when you compare it with other browsers. The internet explorer was already feeling the heat after the launch of firefox 3.0 and after chrome it seems its days are numbered
