This game is all about action, so expect to jam on the 5 button regularly to use his brutal attacks. The chain swords (Athena’s Blades) are the default weapon and it whips all around the screen, slicing up enemies, tossing them into the air. Kratos has access to several other choice weapons, such as Medusa’s Head, Army of Hades, and the Blade of Artemis. Each one of these weapons or magic attacks have their own strengths against numerous underlings or vicious boss monsters.

• Attack while climbing walls or while hanging from a rope over deadly chasms

• Grab enemies, rip them in half, fling them across the room, slice their heads off, and spill their blood or engage in mini-games during combat when prompted to take down an enemy in style

• Trade in experience orbs to upgrade Kratos’ weapons and magic attacks
