Samsung S5600 Review

We were the first to introduce the specifications of Samsung S5600 and now we are here with the latest review. Samsung S5600 was first introduced at Mobile World Conference in 2009 and since that day viewers were desperate to know about this phone in detail.
Design: Samsung S5600 comes with a beautiful 2.8 inch touch screen which supports resolution of 240×320 and 16 million colors enough for a colorful experience. The handset weighs only 92 grams and the Samsung S5600 dimensions are 102.8mmx54.8mmx12.9mm which can sit easy on your hand as well as fit in your pocket. The rounded edges add for a nice faux perception of slimmness. The Samsung S5600 is modestly styled both the front as well as the back panel is made of nice plastic with the only exception being the brushed metal plate, which hosts the hardware keys. There is no Back key among the three hardware buttons at the bottom for back key function user will have to use the left direction of the D-pad. The microUSB port is at the top of the phone hidden by a protective cap and will be used for charging as well as data transfer.
Camera: The Samsung S5600 is adequately equipped for the competitive megapixel phone market and with 3 megapixel camera which can support resolution of up to 2048 X 1536 pixel this phone is not a bad deal. The features which the camera of Samsung S5600 supports are

Connectivity: Samsung S5600 supports high speed internet browsing through connectivity options like GPRS, EDGE and HSPDA. The data transfer options like Bluetooth and USB make it easy for users for transferring files and videos. The Samsung S5600 also supports video calling with its 3 megapixel camera on 3G network. The internet speed goes up to 7.2 Mbps on 3G network and has added bonus of a GPS receiver which enables geotagging feature.
User Interface: Same as Samsung S8300 UltraTouch the Samsung S5600 comes with TouchWiz user interface which is an improved version of its predecessors. The widgets are very conveniently placed on the home screen and widgets like clock and mp3 are very useful and can be dragged and place back to the side bar. The Gesture Lock feature of TouchWiz allows user to unlock the phone or open any application by just drawing an alphabet letter on the unlock screen of the phone. Users can assign various actions to any alphabet letters.
Multimedia: The Music player on Samsung S5600 supports file formats like MP3, AAC, WMA, OGG and AMR so all you need is transfer you favorite songs to this phone to enjoy on the go. The Music Player also supports song filtering by album, author and genre and the playlists can be generated automatically and used as filters. The Music Player of Samsung S5600 can also be minimized so that you can listen music on the background while surfing the net. Another nice touch is the inclusion of the Shazam Find Music application, which works in much the same way as Track ID on the Sony Ericsson. The Samsung S5600 also provides a stereo FM radio which can be accessed by widget on the screen. The Samsung S5600 also has two pictures galleries which are optimized for touch screen operation. The pictures in the galleries can be changed by sweeping the fingers across the screen. The other options to access the images on the Samsung S5600 is through Photo browser which has an icon placed in the main menu.
Gaming: The gaming enthusiasts will not get disappointed by Samsung S5600 as there are plenty of games available for this handset. Playing games on Samsung S5600 will be fun as the touch screen is very responsive and bright.
