Microsoft Using Games To Defeat iPhone

Microsoft has signed up a number of mobile game developers to create games for its mobile platform. Strong indication of sales coming from mobile application stores indicates that mobile games can make a difference in a battle for mobile OSes.

One of the primary drivers of the iPhone has been entertainment and since Apple’s App Store went live last July, developers have emerged and make thousands of games, ranging from action and shooting games to puzzles and arcade games.

EA Mobile, Gameloft, Magmic Games, Namco Network, Glu Mobile, Handmark, Ilium Software, Jeyo, Kinoma, LiteScape, Melodis, Netflix, Pandora, PhatWare, Resco, ShoZu, Sling Media, SBSH Mobile Software and Spb Software is list of developers who pledged to distribute their titles via Microsoft’s application store.
