Nokia N97 vs iPhone 3G

12 April 2009 One Comment

There are many so called iPhone killer in the market but still iPhone has got no real opponent to fear from and now we have Nokia N97 as a potential competitor so lets have a fight.
Feature wise If the slide-out QWERTY keyboard is not enough to beat the on-screen keyboard in the iPhone, then the N97 has a 5MP camera (with flash) and a video-recording option too.
The Nokia N97 has a 16:9 widescreen 3.5 touch display with a full QWERTY keyboard, perfect as it is a mobile computer, 32 GB of on-board memory with support up to 48GB with a 16GB microSD card. The N97 also has a 5-Megapixel camera with high-quality Carl Zeiss optics, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, HSDPA and WLAN.
The Apple iPhone 3G also has a 3.5-inch widescreen Multi-Touch display, a choice between 8GB and 16GB, with no option to upgrade. The iPhone also looses out to the N97 in the camera department as well, as the handset only has a 2.0 megapixels camera. The iPhone also has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GSM/EDGE, and UMTS/HSDPA.

Well we all know features are not enough to beat iPhone as iPhone is not just a phone it is a religion with huge cult following.

You just detailed a lot of the reason that the N97 knocks the Iphone out of the water.. and if it is just ‘cult’ that ‘keeps it ahead’ then it aint ahead at all..

Thank god I waited, and didn’t the Iphone.. waiting for the N97 to be released is the only annoying thing about it
