The Revenge Of The Microsoft

Microsoft has announced its price list for the latest upcoming OS Window 7 and the price which Europeans will pay for the OS is something to think over as it will be 41 to 100 percent more than what U.S customers will pay. The another kick in rear of EU customer is that Windows 7 will be without a Browser and users will have to download it separately from the Microsoft server. This is nothing but revenge for what EU court has done to Microsoft last year and it is getting interesting.
In October when the latest Windows 7 will be launched it will retail at €119.99 in the European Union and charge £79.99 in the U.K. which is equivalent to $168.66 and $132.14 in U.S Dollars. Whereas customers in U.S will pay only $119 for the same OS and that also preloaded with browser which means Europeans will pay 41% more and U.K customers will pay 10% more than U.S buyers for Home Premium version of the OS.
Even without a browser, Windows 7 users in Europe can download software via FTP by using the operating system’s file manager. In Windows Explorer, users can set up a new “network location” using a wizard-like tool, then specify an FTP server with the syntax “ftp://ftp.address.com,” such as “ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox,” where Firefox is located. This is not as simple as it sounds and for many users who hardly know the difference between http and ftp this process of browser downloading will sure give some ache in crack.
The higher versions of Windows 7 like professional and Windows Ultimate will cost Europeans around 57% to 100% more than U.S customers. The Windows 7 will be available in Europe as Windows 7E and it will be without IE8 and customers in europe will have to buy the “Full” editions, which are usually more expensive, at “Upgrade” prices.

European union is trying its best to stop what big multinationals are trying to do i.e monopoly and Microsoft has learnt its lesson here in Europe.
Microsoft is doing what it is told by the european union so they should not complain about missing IE browser
I think the person in the picture receiving the treatment is European commission judge and the person giving it is bill gates himself ha ha.
