Skype 1.1 For iPhone Has Voicemail But No Push Notification

Skype 1.1 for iphone has introduced features like voice-mail and sms which were previously available on desktop version only. This latest version of Skype for iphone will only run on iPhone OS 2.2 and 3.0.
The Skype 1.1 for iPhone with few UI tweaks like new dial pad and glossy look Skype 1.1 also supports 18 different languages making it available in Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Portuguese (Portugal), Russian, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, Swedish and Traditional Chinese.
Users can download the update in iTunes, or launch the App Store on their device and select “Updates” to get the latest version, while there’s more info on the Skype site.
Features Missing:
The latest Skype 1.1 for iphone lacks one feature which was anticipated by its fan and that feature is push notification. Push notification is the feature enabled in 3.0 that addresses the lack of multi-tasking on the iPhone.
The main features of the Skype app include free Skype-to-Skype calls from any Wi-Fi zone to other Skype users worldwide; the ability to call landline or mobile phones at Skype’s great low rates from any Wi-Fi zone; the ability to send/receive instant messages to/from individuals or groups via 3G, Wi-Fi, GPRS or EDGE (whichever is available); the ability to receive calls to a personal online number on Skype and the ability to see when Skype contacts are online/available to IM or talk.
