Nokia Unleashes X6 With 5 Megapixel Camera And Facebook Widget

Nokia announced two new handsets called Nokia X6 and Nokia X3, both dedicated to music lovers. The Nokia X series is Nokia’s 5800 Xpress follow up, which is designed to target the music lovers.

The X6 is a S60 5th edition phone with features that include

  • 3.2 inch capacitive glass touchscreen
  • 5 megapixel autofocus camera with dual LED flash
  • 32GB on built-in storage
  • A-GPS and WiFi
  • 3.5mm headphone jack
  • TV-out
  • Online sharing
  • Nokia Music store
  • Full Web browser and Flash Lite support

Joining the X6 is the X3, sharing some of the X6’s design cues. The X3 slider sports a 3.2-megapixel camera, a thin frame wrapping a 2.2-inch screen, stereo speakers, dedicated music keys and support for up to 16GB of storage via microSD card. The X3 also offers an active home screen where users will be able to see contacts, friends and current music playing.

Both the Nokia X6 and the Nokia X3 will start shipping during the fourth quarter of this year. The Nokia X6 is expected to retail for around $640 unlocked.
