The BlackBerry Bold 9700 features when compared to its predecessor:
Design and Look: The Bold 9700 is a souped-version of RIM’s Bold 9000 in a more compact package. Every dimension of the 9700 is smaller, especially the weight. The Bold 9700 weighs in at 89 grams, while the Bold 9000 weighs in a 136 grams.
Processor: The BlackBerry Bold 9700 sports a 624-MHz processor, which should enable it to multitask without slowing down or lagging. Though the Bold 9000 also has a 624-MHz Processor.
Trackpad: The BlackBerry Bold 9700 replaces the original Bold’s track ball with an optical touch-sensitive track pad.
Enterprise Friendly: The handset will be as enterprise-friendly as customers are used to from RIM, as the Bold 9700 will be able to receive over-the-air e-mails, contact information, and calendars from Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Domino, and Novell GroupWise setups. Users will also be able to get push e-mail from Web-based providers like Gmail and Yahoo Mail thanks to the BlackBerry Internet Service. Additionally, Bold 9700 customers can add new personal or corporate applications through the BlackBerry App World.
3G Support: The Bold 9700 will be T-Mobile’s first 3G BlackBerry. T-Mobile users will also be able to use their Bold 9700 for Wi-Fi calling at home or with corporate setups.
Camera: The camera is much improved 3.2 megapixel with flash and autofocus capable of taking decent pictures.
Battery Life: The most notable addition is the significantly improved battery life on the 9700. RIM has managed to add 1.5 hours of talk time and 8.5 days of life to the battery.

you all are owners of bold 9000 who for some reason havent or cant afford to check out what 9700 has got in store and you already are sayin bold 9000 is better . as a device, looks, style everything .. bb9700 kills all competitionall around its a sharp stylish and fast device that only a few with good personality can carry off…
