iPhone OS 3.1.2: How To Jailbreak Using Blackra1n
GeoHot released its latest jailbreak utility for iPhone OS 3.1.2, a Windows-only release, just like his previous opus, purplera1n.
George Hotz new software is a “30 second ALL device 3.1.2 jailbreak.” He does caution that you cannot update to 3.1.2 on the 3G and 3G S using iTunes if you want to maintain an unlocked phone but that otherwise this is the tool you have been waiting for.
To complete the process in 30 sec follow the steps below:
1) Download and install the latest version of iTunes
2) Update/restore to the original iPhone OS firmware 3.1.2 on your iPhone by using the latest version of iTunes. Click the links to download the iPhone firmware 3.1.2 for iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G, iPhone 2G.
3) Download blackra1n for Windows. Click here to download
4) Start blackra1n app. If you are on Windows 7 or Vista, run the app with “Windows XP Compatibility” mode by enabling it from the “Properties” tab to avoid any errors during the jailbreak process.
5) Click on “make it ra1n”:

6) Let the app do its thing and wait for the phone to automatically reboot.
7) You should now have “blackra1n” in the list of applications on your iPhone. Run “blackra1n”, download Cydia and let it install it.

Finally reboot your iPhone. Mission accomplished
