Top Five Reasons Why Nokia N97 Is Better Than HTC Touch Pro 2

The top two smartphones with slide and tilt QWERTY keyboards are already in the market, though there’s bound to be one with an edge over the other.
1) Widget Based Home Screen: Similar to the Samsung TouchWiz interface found on the Omnia, this feature gives you the freedom to customize the N97’s home screen and lets you see more information at a glance as well as have one-touch access to your apps. The screen at one time can have a maximum of eight widgets, and it’s easy to remove or rearrange them.
2) Camera: The Nokia N97 sports a 5 mega pixel camera with a maximum image resolution of 2592×1944. It has Carl Zeiss optics and a dual-LED flash. It’s not just a stills camera, as you’ll find a front facing video camera for use in video conferencing and the main camera supports 16:9 and DVD quality video capture. By default you can load the camera up either by pressing the capture button or using the widget button on the Homescreen of the Nokia N97. Once loaded, you’ll find the interface is the same as the one used on the Nokia 5800.
3) Gaming: N97 is thus markedly different from other N-gage supported devices. Touchscreen is a new concept in the world of N-gage and just imagining the slew of new games that would come supporting the touchscreen features is already making me mad with excitement. Combine with that the huge screen, great ergonomics and the latest in accelerometer technology, the N97 is destined to be the ruler of the portable gaming world. The presence of a great QWERTY keyboard is an added bonus, a feature that the keyless iPhone can never hope to match.
4) Storage: The Nokia N97 comes with 32GB of internal storage, but you can add another 16GB microSD card for a total of 48GB. This is great for storing lots of music, photos, and videos.
5) Battery: The battery life is quite impressive given that the N97 is shunting around 230,400 pixels, 50 per cent more than an iPhone or a Pre, with brightness on max if you’re outdoors. Thanks to the stalwart 1500mAh battery, I was assured of a full day’s use. Leave auto-lock on, and beware of the power-guzzling uses such as Bluetooth audio streaming (A2DP) and the loudspeaker. Annoyingly, Nokia has followed the trend of displaying the battery charge based on recent usage.
