TechCrunch it seems find racist remarks against President Obama as funny and the blog site insisted in its article that Apple has no sense of humor as it has decided to stop SomeeCards from publishing racist ecards app available on iPhone.

Apple contacted Someecards a couple days ago and persuaded the card making company to remove one card because the Halloween e card was making fun of President Obama based on presidents skin color. The card says: “Just double-checking that your Obama costume will involve a mask and not shoe polish.”

Apple is known to have established standards when it comes to quality products and has always tried avoiding controversies.

TechCrunch in its comparison has also mentioned that Apple has allowed Asian upskirt shots and so the company is Hippocratic when it comes to maintaining ethics or kind of moral values. The logic to ban something which is offending to some people of some race and to allow soft porn which no one cares these days can be understood, so the above reason to call Apple as Hypocrite is just not sufficient.

Meanwhile Google is reported to have contacted the Someecards and has convinced them to make the app for Android platform and the thing to be noted is that Google stressed that they wouldn’t censor the app.
