Acer Liquid A1: Lacks Android OS 2.0 And Comes Without 1Ghz Processor

Acer has launched an Android smart phone, the Acer Liquid A1 (S100), powered by 756MHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and Android 1.6 operating system. The Acer Liquid has also just been approved by the FCC complete with AT&T 3G (850/1900MHz) creating a powerful combination.
Sadly, the Acer Liquid A1 (S100) does not have a 1GHz processor as originally expected nor the very latest android OS version 2.0.
The Acer Liquid A1 comes with features that includes:

- Andriod 1.6 (Donut) Operating System
- Slim design just over 12.5mm thick
- 3.5″ WVGA Touchscreen Display
- Quad-band GSM/GPRS 850/900/1800/1900
