Nokia 2710: The Most Affordable Navigation Phone From Nokia

Nokia announced its most affordable navigator phone with onboard GPS, the Nokia 2710. The device comes preloaded with Nokia maps and has device based mapping enabling users to get directions even without data connection.

The cheapest Navigator branded handset from the Nokia is a pretty basic mid range handset boasting of a 2.2 inch display and a 2 megapixel camera.

The features of Nokia 2710 navigator includes:

  • 2.2-inch display
  • supports Quadband GSM/GPRS 850/900/1800/1900
  • 2-megapixel camera
  • 3.5mm headphone socket
  • FM radio with RDS
  • Bluetooth v2.1
  • MicroSD card slot with a 2GB card

The Nokia 2710 is not a 3G phone, so data will be sent and received at GPRS or EDGE speeds only.

The expected price of the Nokia 2710 Navigation Edition will be 110 euros and it is expected to hit the market in the second quarter of 2010.
