Nokia 5235: The Cheapest Nokia Smartphone Model To Date

Nokia the world’s largest mobile phone makerĀ  is preparing to launch a new music-bundled phone Nokia 5235. The phone is expected to serves as an effective upgrade to the existing 5230 phone, but drops the on-board GPS credentials to come in at a lower price point.

The Nokia 5235 will come with features that includes:

  • 3.2-inch resistive touchscreen
  • 2-megapixel camera
  • 3.5mm headphone jack
  • microSD slot content with up to 16GB cards

The Nokia 5235 Comes With Music will have access to Nokia’s services such as the Ovi Store, Ovi Contacts, Ovi Share and Ovi Maps with pedestrian and drive navigation modes.

The long-life battery is good for 18 days in standby, or 33 hours of continuous music-playing.

Nokia is aiming to ship the model in the first quarter at a price of 145 euros ($213.5) before taxes, subsidies and music package. The phone is the cheapest Nokia smartphone model to date when excluding the music package.
