A high street retailer Oasis has started a new cell phone voucher service enabling buyers to redeem offers via their cell phones.

The retailer which is owned by Aurora Fashions, in a bid to improve its voucher redemption rates and increase footfall has started the service which allows visitors to its website to buy a mobile gift voucher worth from £10 to £300 which integrates with Oasis’s electronic point of sale (EPOS) system.

Sharon O’Connor, Oasis MD, said it was important for retailers to implement new technologies. “Through using new mobile technology, we can make the shopping experience more accessible to the challenging demands of daily life,” she said.

The service is developed by Eagle Eyes mobile technology, an expert in mobile voucher solutions.

Steve Rothwell, CEO Eagle Eye Solutions added: “Nearly everyone in the UK can receive a text and hence a coupon or voucher on their phone, but what makes this such a breakthrough is that we’ve solved the key barrier to entry i.e. the real-time authentication of the voucher at the Point of Sale.

Hey I caught your blog on Amazon.com and knew your readers would benefit from something I’ve been working on for awhile. The is URL attached to my comment for my site, MyOpinionIs. It’s now public and has been tested bug free.I’ve had a site up for awhile and we offer free Amazon gift cards that we deliver via e-mail for doing surveys. So, if anyone wants to start now –do the surveys, build up points until you reach the 200 point payout threshold and then request a $20 survey to be sent out to your e-mail address cashing in your points. It’s pretty common to see this these days with those sites, SurveySpot, BigSpotand and others paying out cash for doing surveys. Enjoy!
