Apple Tablet Boasts 3D Graphics Interface And eBook Reader Component

2 January 2010 No Comment

According to Fox News Apple is holding a big event for a product launch on January 26, 2010. Last week, the Financial Times also reported that Apple has rented space in a San Francisco convention center to showcase a new product.

In a blog post the former Google China president Kai-fu Lee, wrote about the tablet and credited the information to a friend familiar with the project, Bloomberg reports. As per Lee’s blog post, the Apple Tablet will be iPhone-esque touchscreen with surprising UI, 3D graphics, virtual keyboard, video conferencing, eBooks, Internet and other functions. All this will come at sub-$1,000 price.

The device has a front camera for video chat. Lee also writes that the device looks like a large iPhone, has a 10-inch screen, an “amazing” interface and will include a significant e-book component.

At this stage, it’s too early to jump onto any conclusions based on the rumors and old trademarks.
