Eye-Fi’s SD memory cards famous for integrated wireless connectivity are now boasting Endless Memory Mode enabling faster space creation for more images and videos.

According to Eye-Fi the new $149.99 Pro X2 card, supports 8GB capacity rated at Class 6 performance also moves up to 802.11n wireless from 802.11g. The upgraded 802.11n radio and a new antennae will improve photo and video upload speeds, with better Wi-Fi range.

The Eye-Fi line of SD Cards allows users to use 802.11 wireless networks to transfer images saved on the cards to a nearby PC or to a photo sharing Website, cutting out the need to remove the card from the digital camera.

The Pro X2 also features a new Endless Memory mode allowing the card to automatically make space available after photos and videos are uploaded. The card uses the integrated 802.11n networking to check if files on the card have been uploaded online. The card will then start to delete content starting with the oldest on the card to ensure space for new material is available.
