Palm Pixi Plus Review: Why Texting Fanatics Would Love To Have This Phone
Palm Pixi Plus unveiled at CES 2010 is a great little phone for users who are more inclined towards texting.
Verizon is offering the Palm Pixi Plus for $99 after $100 mail in rebate and a two year contract. The phone is truly a plus if compared with the Palm Pixi from Sprint as Pixi Plus comes integrated with WiFi.

Design: It looks almost same as Palm Pixi of Sprint with same dimensions and a full QWERTY keyboard. The Pixi Plus offers five new colors for its users to choose from in addition to the limited edition artist series back plates. The artists series back plates works with Touchstone charging dock and costs only $29 each.
Camera: The Palm Pixi Plus Verizon comes with a two megapixel camera with a flash. The image quality is not very good in low light areas but overall the performance is acceptable considering its only 2 megapixel camera. Video recording is not there but Palm is going to release its WebOS update 1.4 OTR and it will add the recording capability.
Connectivity: The most talked about feature of the Palm Pixi Plus is, the Mobile Hotspot which works smoothly without any glitch. The phone can provide Wifi connectivity to as many as five devices with the range in feet extending up to 170. The Pixi Plus high speed data capability includes 1xRTT, EVDO Rev 0, EVDO Rev A. The Pixi Plus comes preloaded with Google Maps, which offers satellite view maps, real-time positioning and traffic data.
