An innovative idea but somehow sound dangerous, a new iPhone app that can warm your hands by using the phone’s CPU.
Pocket Heat app available from iTunes uses the phone’s processor and turns iPhone into a small pocket heater. User can adjust the heat level by using an onscreen slider, which changes the temperature with nice graphical “heating elements” on the phone’s display.
However, concerned feedback has forced the company to remove the heating capability and now the app only lights up the screen with a warm glow. The iTunes store has specified that the app no more support heating capabilities and now only features warming graphics and sound effects.
