Born out of the largest AI project ever launched the iPhone app from Siri Inc is the most intelligent app yet to hit the iTunes app store. The company on February 5 has announced that their app is available for free download and will enable its users to complete e-commerce transactions and other tasks with voice commands.

SIRI assistant app for iPhone will provide the most advanced speech recognition yet on any smartphone. The voice recognition and interpretation capability of Siri comes from the AI that has born out of the largest artificial intelligence project ever launched.

Explaining the power that this Siri assistant app gives to its users the company has demoed the features by showing how quickly Siri assistant app responds to spoken requests, answering questions about restaurants, addresses and the weather.

Siri requires faster processing power so the app is available only for iPhone 3GS but the company will release a version for older iPhone 3G in coming future.
