iOS 4.1 Beta 2 New Baseband: Headache For Comex, Musclenerd

Apple has rearmed its iOS 4.1 Beta 2 with a new baseband which clearly will now require new brain storming sessions hence headaches for both the users and the hackers.
Currently, the only sane option is don’t even think to upgrade to this iOS 4.1 and keep you SHSH blob handy. The real dilemma with iPhone 4 user is that the new iOS 4.1 comes with a fix for proximity sensor issue.
Here is the tweet from Hashim Sheriff, who confirms that the new iOS 4.1 baseband is different.
@MuscleNerd the new BB looks weird thu

The iOS 4.1 also addresses speed problem caused by iOS 4 running on iPhone 3G.
The good news for iPhone 3G is that it can still be Jailbroken with the Redsn0w released in June. Here is the tweet from Musclenerd confirming Redsn0w works on iPhone 3G running iOS 4.1.
redsn0w from June can jailbreak today’s 4.1b2 on iPhone3G and ipt2G http://is.gd/dNEUx but see warnings from prev tweet
