It is not a case, rather it is a process which coats your iPhone at the molecular level, which means outside and inside both to make it waterproof without even using some case.
Neither this Liquipel is publicly available, nor there is any official announcement about it. We have got this news from an unofficial website known asĀ TUAW. As per its post, if the Liquipel starts its work, it will not be available to purchase like a case rather you will be required to send your iPhone to the company along with $59, and the company will coat your iPhone using Liquipel, which actually stands for Liquid Repel.
As per the source, Liquipel technology will support iPhone, iPhone 3G/3GS/4/4S, HTC EVO 4G, EVO Shift 4G, MyTouch 4G, Thunderbolt, Motorola Droid X/X2 and the Samsung Charge.
However, the amount expected to be charged that is $59 is a considerable amount which cannot afford by the average users. But, this counld be best option for those who do not mind spending that much amount on their device, moerover, they do not prefer using a bulky case. Other than the above, there is no more information about this technology that when will it be available publicly.
