Google Nexus Unveiled: The Nexus Beats iPhone In Battery And Screen Performance

Google Inc. is going to unveil Nexus One on Tuesday in a bid to control mobile surfers and the market dominated by iPhone. The Nexus One would be released in a press event at its Mountain View, California, headquarters today, January 5.

Motorola Two New Android Smartphones Coming CES 2010

According to a market analyst, Motorola is set to launch two new Android-based cell phones next week. Trip Chowdhry from Global Equities Research said in a research note that the company is planning to reveal the pair of phones at Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

AT&T To Switch Off Wireline Phone Service Permanently

Leading telecom firm AT&T has urged the regulatory authorities to pull the plug of the older voice-based “circuit switched” telephone systems.

iPhone Is Best Of Smartphones But AT&T’s Network Is Spoiling The Fun

According to a recent survey by Consumer Reports, AT&T received the lowest customer satisfaction ranking in 19 out of 26 big cities, with its lowest ratings coming in the voice service and customer support categories.
DigitalDaily reports that AT&T scored low marks for several key indicators of customer satisfaction–including service availability, circuit capacity, dropped-call frequency and voice service–across 73 percent of the markets Consumer Reports surveyed. Overall, the carrier placed last in the 19 cities surveyed.
