A high street retailer Oasis has started a new cell phone voucher service enabling buyers to redeem offers via their cell phones.
The retailer which is owned by Aurora Fashions, in a bid to improve its voucher redemption rates and increase footfall has started the service which allows visitors to its website to buy a mobile gift voucher worth from £10 to £300 which integrates with Oasis’s electronic point of sale (EPOS) system.

Nokia Lawsuit Against Samsung Is Not A Good News For Cell Phone Buyers

Nokia has filed suit against 11 LCD manufacturers that includes vendors such as Samsung, Seiko and Sharp, accusing them of collusion and price fixing.
The lawsuit, filed Nov. 25 in San Francisco, is based on federal and state antitrust claims. Major manufacturers of LCDs, like Sharp, LG, and Chungwa, apparently reached agreements that allowed them to divide the market for the hardware, keeping manufacturing artificially low, and prices high.
