Apple iPhone Green: Patent Applications Reveals The Strategy

Apple seems to be busy working on its environmentally friendly technology for its upcoming iPhone. The patent and Trademark Office US has published new patent applications from the iPhone maker which includes a patent for solar panel technology in the casing of the iPhone.

iPhone 4G Roadblock: Kodak Patent Suit Can Block Apple Products

Eastman Kodak Co. has filed lawsuits against Apple and BlackBerry maker Research in Motion for infringement of the company’s technology related to digital cameras in the companies’ phones.
The ITC case could result in a ban on imports of Apple and Research In Motion products including upcoming iPhone 4G if Kodak is successful in the court. Sony PSP Phone Coming 2010

As the mobile phone gaming market is booming Sony is considering a cell phone-game gear hybrid powerful enough to knock iPhone out of gaming ring. Rumors of a PlayStation Portable-branded Sony Ericsson device began when a 2007 patent application for a gaming phone was filed by the joint venture. Samsung launched its first Android phone, the I7500. Like the G1, Samsung’s smartphone will have deep integration with all Google’s Web services.

Bluetooth 3.0 With Speed Up to 480 Mbit/s

The Latest Bluetooth 3.0 coming on 21st april  will be able to use 802.11 or Wi-Fi radios to transfer information enabling wireless speeds upto 480 Megabits per second.
Bluetooth 3.0 will use 802.11 technology (not technically Wi-Fi) to help transfer heftier files.
